Dunno what week is this =.="

It's already Friday !

Another week is over and in a few more days, I would be able to meet lots of friends again. Friends from UTAR, UK and of course, Australia.

Convocation is on 8th of August, 8 days from today. At first thought, its really exciting for me to receive my scroll on the stage, in front of so many people, especially my beloved parents. However, as I think further much responsibilities I would need to shoulder as soon as I have officially graduated.

My dad is particularly unhappy after he heard that I was rejected by Kraft for Graduate Trainee Position. I was a little bit disappointed as well, as I knew I didn't put in my 100% effort during the 3rd interview cum assessment. I wasn't expecting that type of evaluation on that day and it really caught me by surprise. However, it is a good experience and should I apply for Management Trainee position again, I would be much prepared for what I'm going to be tested on.

As for now I'm still hunting for a job that I like and I am quite picky on this. I doesn't want to work in something that I have no passion in it, as this would not bring out the best in me. My parents are quite concern about me especially my dad, who is already planning to get me into an MBA program or to force me to further study in any postgraduate program that I would like to do. So, I am praying hard that I could get a job as soon as possible to avoid going back to university so soon!

Let's not talk too much about my career. Talk about my life for the past one whole week. Apart from the bad news from Kraft, life is pretty good for this week.

This week, I spend most of my time either by watching DVD or looking for other job opportunities. And since I knew that I would like to do something related to management or business in future, I spend some of my free time learning some tools of trades in the business world. I learn some terms related to investment/business world reading business magazines (Times, Forbes, Newsweek =.=") and playing some real time investing game (its darn addictive !!).

I also did some shopping this week. I went to IKEA yesterday with my mom to get some new furniture and household items. I bought a few new photo frame and some file case. The reason I am buying photo frames is that, I have washed out a few course pictures and I felt there is a need to change the old frame. On Tuesday, I cleaned my entire room and it took me blardy 6 hours++ to clean up my blardy room. It seems that I haven't been cleaning the room for quite some time and I found tonnes of rubbish and papers. Some of these papers dated back to year 2006 when I was still doing foundation in TARC. I "restructure" my entire study table and displayed out some memorable photos in those frames.

Some round candle ! It is so cute !

Deng, the size of IKEA. Huge

Photo frames

My table after cleaning and redecoration. So nice rite ? Hehe

Don't be surprise if I am about to tell you that this was the first time I have been to IKEA. People closed to me knows that I rarely step my foot into Mutiara Damansara area especially Curve area. So, I was pretty amused when I first entered IKEA together with my mom. If I had the cash, I would definitely splurge on that day. The way they design/decorate those bedroom is just what I wanted for my own room/ my own house.

Anyway, these days I have been doing some pretty intense jogging during the evening.(too free at home =.="). All these running makes me healthier but also unusually hungry during midnight. I hate the hungry feeling and those drumming noises from my stomach. When I am hungry, I would have two choice. 1) Get some McD or 2) cook something to eat.

Now, let me tell you some story about my mom. My mom is a great cook. In fact she is so good, that I have only listen to praise from friends that have the opportunities to dine at my home. She is a firm believer of this principle, "let your kids learn and let them learn it the hard way". Yeah, very true. She is one of the main reason for who I am today.

I have start learning how to take care of myself since I was a young kid, age around 7-8. Back then, my mom thought me how to cook, how to handle the stove and how to prepare food properly. Many of you might not know that, my parents went outstation quite often and usually I was left home alone together with my brother. Throughout so many years, I have learn to cook some simple food to make sure that I am able to survive, when my mom is not at home. Cooking is one of my small hobby. I love to try new recipe, especially cooking western food (too bad, usually only the special one can try it. Hahahahaha).

Weekend !

Its another weekend again. And its nearing the end of July.

I have been under the holiday mode for almost 3 months and its really getting bored with me sitting at home everyday, watching drama, waiting for people to call me out or me planning up something very wuliao. My convocation ceremony will be held at Wisma MCA in two weeks time and I already start planning activities for that particular week. Well, activities that include gathering with all my biochemist comrades, dinner with all my good friends (some purposely fly back from Australia to attend my convocation, so touch =.=" -> actually they come back for holiday) and dinner with my big family and another round of studio photograhpy.

I'm still waiting for Kraft call and the result is not out yet. It is that hard to decide among 15 of us, which 5-10 will be selected. I really have no idea. But whatever it is, I am still waiting over here. If there is no result by Monday, I would send up another application for management trainee in UOB Bank. And I certainly hope that F&N or Malayan Flour Mills would give me a call by then.

Well, nothing much happened during the entire week. I basically spend most of my time at home, watching TVB drama and analysing the market. US stock market is recovering from the earlier recession and you could see computer giant and electronic giant stock begin to show signs of improvement. Opsss. Why I suddenly touch about all these stock thing ? Haha. I don't know, just telling you guyz what I really do at home.

I have started back my jogging regime. Everyday, I would jog for about 45 minutes - 1 hour which cover a distance of about 5-7 km. At first, it was hard. For the first two days, my entire leg felt numb after jogging and I dont even have the energy to climb stairs. Soon, its getting better and today, I managed to jog non stop for approximately 30 minutes. I hope to continue to improve on my stamina and then get back into the pool.

This noon, I received a call from a girl in Australia. Canberra to be exact. Hehe, guess who she is ? It is nice to hear from her again as the last time I spoke to her was during last month dinner in Chilis. She starts telling me about how big is ANU but also how she regretted chosing it. The reason ? The postgraduate programme is not up to her expectations and she knew it is difficult to compete with some of the best brains around the world there. And now she tell me how she regretted for not chosing universities in Melbourne or Sydney (Melbourne University, UNSW, RMIT, University of Sydney). Haha. Actually, I have selected this few universities as potential university for me to do my postgraduate studies incase I can't find a proper job in time (by September I guess).

UNSW is one the university I like most and most likely, I would be going there. However, that was my original plan, but now I intend to do an MBA instead of an MSc. But the some MBA programs require working experience which I am lacking of. So I also very lost. Dunno what to choose at this stage. Hence the best option is to work first.

But talking about work, seriously, I don't know what is happening to Malaysia market. The government had started talking about the Bio Valley back in year 2000 something. Till now, I dont see much improvement. Compared to Singapore, they have constructed their very own Bio Polis, they develop a region known as Buona Vista, which is a town that houses all Bio-related research and development company/firm. Now, Singapore is attracting thousands of expert to work there, with an attractive salary and possibily, getting the resident status. Yet Malaysia, we see degree holder working as lab technician with salary of 1.3k - 2.2k, scientist with salary of 2.5k - 4k. Haihz. So if you ask me, without a Master degree, dont go into research please.

I dont't know why I am crapping all these here. Maybe because I am too free now. Hehe. I guess that's all for this post. Will try to update more often. Hehe.

Shopping and Working

Malaysia Megasales !!!! Yeah !!!

It's back and this time around, I shop as a fresh graduate, walking into the career path of my life. For the first time, I don't shop for jeans anymore but instead I look for business slack. For the first time, I resist from buying some cute/funny T-shirts but I spend hundreds on working shirts and ties.

Two of my G2000 shirts cost me RM 239 T_T

My 3 new G2000 shirts ....weeeeeeee

Since I'm already splurging on clothes, I saw some good discount in Nike shops and I'm desperately in need of a new running shoe so that I can get back onto the track. Yeah, I need to run/jog again to improve my stamina so that I could swim again. I admit that I am very lazy throughout my university days. I skip scouting, choose to sleep rather than to have a morning jog and worst, I am lazy enough to follow my brother to the gym for workout or swimming session at Chun Hoo's house or Uncle Wai's house. Thou my weight didn't change much during these 3 years, but the lack of exercise surely have some impact on me.

My new Nike Air Max Turbulence !

The last blood test of mine showed that there were slight increase in the amount of LDL cholesterol in my body. Worst, that time, when I was in Phuket, I can only swim 2 rounds of pool before exhausting myself and needed to stop for a while to catch my breathe. The fact that I'm still 22 but exhibiting stamina of an older man certainly worries me a lot. I made up mind since then, that I need to run again to pick up my stamina again.

With the new shoes, I am jog around a park every evening now, for an hour. The first few days were hell. My muscle cramp so many times and it was swollen and pain when I reach home. Maybe after a long time of no heavy exercise, the sudden huge impact on the muscle do result in all these pain. However, after one week, I feel good and getting better with my stamina. It's not as good as in the past yet, but I am eager to improve my stamina again. Afterall, I need go back into the pool and compete with a 8poh during December. Hahaha.

Yesterday, we celebrated Joyce's 22nd birthday. Although there were only 3 person (Hoi Ling, Joyce and me) but we still have a good time, joking and catching up with one another. As usual, I was assigned as the driver, picking up that two girls from their respective house. Then we decide to have Japanese food in Rakuzen at Jln Raja Chulan.

However, upon parking my car in Pavilion, I told Hoi Ling that there is a Tony Roma outlet in Pavilion. She suggested that we should have Tony Roma instead and we were ok with that suggestion. But luck wasn't on our side, when we found that there was a full house in Tony Roma and they require me to pen down my name on the waiting list and wait for approximately 10 minutes ( which I know, its just an approximate and usually we have to wait longer). I am dead hungry that time so I decided that we should try TGI Fridays situated on the 6th floor of Pavilion.

We headed to TGI Friday and suprisingly we find quite a few empty tables within that outlet, thou its a Saturday night. Without hesitating, I asked the manager for a table for 3. We were seated within 5 minutes and placed our orders within 15 minutes.

That night, all 3 of us decided to have steak. I love steak and I would love to try how good is TGI Friday's steak (I never had a meal before in TGI Fridays until yesterday night). I ordered one set of buffalo wings, NY Strip Steak (Joyce), Sirloin Steak ( Hoi Ling) and Ribeye Steak (me). The food arrived within 20 minutes and we start enjoying our meal.

The steak taste good and it was cooked medium rare (as requested by me). However, I find the meal rather big portion and the mash potato suck. I also find that the thicker parts were rather rare thou it's a common phenomenon when it comes to steak with uneven thickness. I would rate it 3 star out of 5 star, definitely not the best steak I have had so far. And the meal is more pricely compared to what I can get at The Ship and almost equivalent to the better one in San Francisco Steakhouse at KLCC.

My ribeye steak :D

Hoi Ling with her Sirloin Steak

Joyce with her NY Strip Steak

We finish our dinner at 9.30++. It was quick thou but we have some nice chat during that time. I send them home and by 11.20 pm I reached home. The reason I'm going home so early is because I have another appointment with my beloved gang. It's a night full of booze. But I didn't drink much. Something was in my mind all the time but I dunno what. But it is a crazy night with lots of jokes, both funny and hamsap.

Today, I went out with TC for a quick lunch at One Utama and to meet Sean. Sean is in KL with his dad for some business thingy. We have a bit of catching up chat at Vietnamese Kitchen where we have our lunch there. I got to know that lots of people have difficulties finding a good job and a few of them were given a very low salary for what qualification they have. Its rather amusing to me, when a degree holder receive a salary much like a diploma holder. To me, its the employer that should be blame. They are just taking the advantage of this current situation to hire some cheap labor and I'm sure some people are willing to work even with a low salary like that. Spoiling the market ? You be the judge. But I do hope that these people will realize they are being taken advantage of and get a better job with a better pay. They deserve better for what they are capable of.

Lastly, I went to the Kraft Asia 3rd assessment on last Friday. It was a fun experience to have and lucky me, I was placed in a group with 5 girls (I suspect conspiracy ni !). The presentation on the case study was abit tension for me. I am preseting to a group of experts, teaching them how to solve a crisis (they are freaking experience compared to me !). That kwai lou financial officer is a funny dude whereby he crack a lot jokes with us to calm us down. I think I did ok for the presentation while two of my groupmates definitely do better than me. However, I was relieved that they called me in for the computer assessment then, which means, I was shortlisted again, from the presentation thingy.

Now, I just have to wait for the result of the assessment and their offer. The results will be out tomorrow and I am hoping for the best. Let the god decide that whether I should leave KL to work in Penang or JB or continue to work in KL. Its an offer too good to turn down and I knew, should I receive the offer, I would be staying in somewhere else for at least 2 years. Hahaha. Something I am not mentally prepared for but I think I should be able to take up the challenge.

Till then, Tata !!!!

A Reason, A Season or A Lifetime

People come and go. It's something that we all have to accept. Every meeting will have its ending. But every ending will start on with a new beginning. Some people will be appear in your life for a reason, some for a season and some for a lifetime. I found this thing pretty interesting from another blog.

This poetry (or izzit poetry ?) teaches us how to deal with people around us. Enjoy :D

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty,
to provide you with guidance and support,
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die.
Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met,
our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real.
But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson,
love the person
and put what you have learned to use in all
other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

A very meaningful poetry related to our daily relationship that we don't put much time to figure out what type of relationship we are in between two person. But, now I am grateful to have all you guys and girls, men or women as part of life.

Costume Party !

It was a good weekend. It all started on Friday when, Emily from Kraft called me to inform me that I passed the second interview held on 7th July 2009 and asked me to prepare for a case studies and 3rd interview with HR manager at their HQ in Damansara Uptown. Well, I guess I have to work harder for the 3rd interview ! Wish me luck and God Bless me !

Saturday was even better. It's Yen Sun's 22nd Birthday party. And I don't know where and how she got the idea to organize a costume party this year. Frankly speaking, I have never attended any costume party before and seriously, I have no idea what I should dress up as.

In the beginning, she asked me to get some police cadet attire from my friends. But I came out with a more stunning idea, to dress up as a SWAT team member.

SWAT Member of LAPD

Hong Kong SDU (Special Duties Unit or known as "Fei Fu Tui")

Haha. It's my childhood dream to join team of experts like these. Saving civilians, do your country proud and stuff like that. But I didn't end up as one because I have never heard of good praise on Malaysia police force. Or maybe because our country is too academic focus and many people believe joining police force = no future.

Anyway, I thought since its a costume party, going in a SWAT attire would definitely stun the people in the party. So I start calling a few costume shops that specialize in renting costume to costume party goer like me. Hahaha. However, I found that most of them either don't have a SWAT attire or they charge a very unreasonable fee for renting the attire for 1 day. At last, my plan failed and I didn't show up at the party as a SWAT member.

Just the day before the party, Alvin rang me and talk to me about the idea of making a team of doctors from Hong Kong. He got the idea from the TVB charity show, regarding the Pok Oi Hospital from HK. He offer to make the tag thingy and I do my part by sponsoring 3 lab coat. Well, it was pretty simple but since I don't have much time to get a proper costume already, thats the only choice I have. I think Alvin did a pretty good job in creating that tag. It was quite funny, with me as a doctor from Sexology Department, Alvin as a doc from Psychiatric Department and LES a doctor from Neurology Department. Haha.

On Saturday, we rushed to get all the things prepared. Lab coats, tag, some fake operation knife and our doctor attire. I dress up rather semi casually, while Alvin were in a full formal look (its actually a black jeans not a slack ! ), while LES followed my style. NCY didn't dress up while Krishnath wanted to be a professional footballer but only to surpise us later on with his evil plan !

We gathered at Krishnath house at about 6.45 pm (Sorry guys for being not on time that day ! ). I'll be driving all of them to Sunway Pyramid first, where we will have our dinner and get our pressie first before heading to Berry Passion (location where the party was held).

When we are in Sunway Pyramid, Alvin and me went to get the 320 gig HDD for Yen Sun as her bday present. Krishnath went to get a mask, intending to proceed with his secondary plan. Then they got her a present from some pinkie shop which I saw Krishnath keep on looking at the sales girl. This kurus (kurus is a nickname for Krishnath) loves Chinese girl.

Skinny dude looking at the girl

At first, we have no idea what Krishnath's second plan was. When we went back to our car in the car park, he rushed to get his jump suit and change in the car park itself. We were surprised !

At first we don't really know what this dude is trying to attempt. But it became obvious when he wore that mask he bought from a shop at Asian Avenue Sunway Pyramid.

Tang Dang *claps*, we present Krishnath, the serial killer from Scary movie. Hahaha. It was awesome. The moment he put on that mask, we laughed for about 10 minutes in the car. It was damn funny and we start to make prank of him. We asked him to look behind or to the side to scare any motorist or people on the streets. At one point, there was a police car in front. Krishnath were abit frightened by the police car as you know lah, in Malaysia, dressing up like this is sort of abit abnormal. If the police saw, they might stop us and question us. So he took of his mask and only to put it on again, to scare people walking on the streets.

We reached the venue at about 9 pm, 1 hour late. Jolene called when I was driving halfway, knowing that Yen Sun would be frustrated by our absence or arriving too late. Haha. However, Krishnath solved it all :D. We send that dude to walk first, surprising everyone in the party. Now, no one actually paid attention to the 4 of us, and we took the opportunity to sneak in. Haha.
But Krishnath received far too much attention, till all the leng lui wanted to take picture with him and neglecting all the leng chai doctors from Hong Kong (perasaan :D).

Anyway, they serve Heineken that night, together with some Vodka or some other liquor. I have no problem with beer or liqour but mixing it is a NO NO. Yet, that blardy dude, mix some dunno wat liquor in my normal drink (some fruit juice). The effect was strong, and I started to become very high, laughing loud and talk crap with my friends. And of course, we danced that night, we have fun and some people puke *wink* and some were abit drunk. Here are a few pictures taken from my phone.

I attended the party as Sexology expert :D

We ended the night at about 2 am. It was a great party, simple yet fun ! Have lots of fun catching up with people I haven't meet for years. More pictures on Facebook ! (wait for ppl to tag me la). Hahaha.

Disastrous Event !

I think most of you guys that read my blog knew that I work part time for Aspen, a company specializing in event organization and event related stuff. I have been working for them in a few event but this is the first time I'm working in an logo launching event held in a club lounge. The club name ? Well, Bar Celona at Sunway, one of the club I use to frequent in the past.

The company involved in the logo launching event, well name it X company is a company that are quite famous in the networking field. They have started operations one decade ago and now I think they are doing quite well that they think they need a logo. And the theme for the night was related to jewelery and catwalk ! Haha. When there is catwalk, there are models !

Yeah, they have hired around 12 models, stunning models. Some looked like an angel from the sky, some are hot, while some look simple yet elegant. But most importantly, 70% of them are taller than me, with the tallest around 6 feet +. Hahaha.

However, the day didn't start off too well. I was late for the set up and I knew Steve and Kean had waited me for more than 15 minutes. To make matter worse, I was driving in Subang area, when Simon called me. I had told him in an sms earlier that I'm already in Subang area and will arrive within minutes, but yet he call me =.=". I didn't see there was a traffic police nearby and the minute I realized, I was asked to stop by. As usual, we did a little bit of chit chat, and he happily let me go. If you wanna know more, feel free to ask me. Then, I reached Sunway Pyramid at about 10.50, 20 minutes late and I rushed to Barcelona.

The set up for this event was pretty simple. Most of the heavy work was done by the wood workers and AV workers. We're there to help out on some simple work, carry some stuff around and waited for the briefing only. Again this time around, I was put in charged of the backstage and the dressing room (backstage manager). I had worked as a backstage manager for the previous two annual dinner event. At first I thought it would be pretty easy again this time, since we are equipped with high tech wireless speak +mic (walkie talkie sucks compared to that wireless thingy !). But I was proved wrong, when things start to run out of coordination.

We have models in the dressing room and of course, they change within that 6 feet x 3 feet dressing room. All of them change there. It was packed and I wasn't not allowed to stay inside the room when they are changing (duh !). Therefore, I communicate through a middle person which is Fifi in this case. She will talk to Sabrina inside and tell me how is their preparation process before I can inform those on the console stage that they can roll out the carpet.

Because of the event was tightly scheduled with no long breaks in between of each show, things start to run out of coordination abit. We made a lot of mistakes and I did one major one - I did not alias properly with the emcee resulting her telling the crowd that the event already ended at 9++. Luckily she did mention what I told her on the later part, asking the crowd to stay and continue on with the night. Zha dou......

Well, well. The event basically ended at about 10.30 with people leaving and we have to give back the venue to Bar Celona for their normal clubbing night. We start cleaning up and by 11.10, everything was loaded into cars and lorries, waiting to be delievered to its respective location.

It was still a fun event and whole new experience. Something that you cannot bought with money, the experience of working with club djs, our own console and the models. After all that is Aspen, we make things happen (their theme kot, from their website). Hahahaha.

Job Hunting !

These days I'm so busy hunting for jobs that I have neglected this blog. Felt so guilty now pulak. Here are some latest update over the last week. I was busy preparing for my Kraft Asia interview and at the same time, I did enjoy some outing with friends.

Playing snooker with some of my high school friends

Last Thursday, I went for a gathering with some of my high school friends. It was quite a strange gathering as we set the venue at Spicy, Menjalara, but this time around we did not have any one volunteering to fetch another friend nor there was anyone asking for a car pool. This had made me realize, no more car pooling maybe a sign that all of us have finally grown up with each of us having an own car. Hahaha, but this was quite a nuisance, since most of our house is about 2 km away from the mamak, but yet each of us drive a car there ourselves. This created another problem, no parking for so many cars ! There were 7 of us (Choon Yih, Eng Soon, Alvin, Fun Yat, Krishnath, Jing Long and Me), and each of us drove a car. The parking area near the mamak was rather limited and thus some of them were left with no choice but to park far away. Hence, some how car pooling does have its own benefits.

It was a great gathering. We were joined by an Indian friend from my friends' sixth former school which is one funny dude to talk to and two young lady which are my friend's colleague. We talked, we joke and of course, I would take the chance to make new friends with these 3 stranger sitting together with us. And of course, it doesn't take too long, when my friends start talking crap and trying to disturb me with the girl (Ok, I don't know why I have friends that like to play prank with me with girls). Then somewhere around 11, Mei Fen and Yei Yuen arrived to join us. Then Teong Hong came along. We talk about the last updates in life, some gossip of course and some political stuff. And of course, when all the guys gathered, some football talk will surface naturally.

At around 12, we decided that we have enough of yamchar and we head to a newly opened snooker centre. Well, to those who know me, you guys should know that I dont play snooker. But that night I was tempted. That night, at the snooker center, we have lots of fun. Some fun were too stupid that it made me laugh for 10 minutes continuously. It's been so long since the last time I laugh that loud and long ! Well, maybe when someone said, "Alex is always too stressed up", probably its true. But after graduating from uni, I felt so much lighter and much more relax. And I realize, I have just learn again on how to laugh happily during my Singapore and Phuket trip.

The next day, we went for some minum minum @ Solaris Mont Kiara. Well, I have been there a few times but its the first time I'm going there for some beer session with friends. It's a great place at night. Classy with neon lights brightening the entire streets. We went to an outdoor bar (I forgotten the name but its located somewhere near Coffee Bean. The beer price ain't that cheap but considering that place is Mont Kiara, hence we don't really mind the price at all. We order two tower and start drinking madly. Hahaha. We talk about younger days, our latest relationship and as usual some gossips would spice up the night even further. We go home at about 1 am, as they start closing that time. It's quite early considering its a Friday night, but well, classy place always has some crappy rules. LOL.

Minum Minum with friends @ Soho KL kat Solaris Mont Kiara

On Saturday, I met Yan and Suet for dinner in Chilis, Mid Valley. Sort of like a small reunion for 3 of us who once served in Sime Darby Technology Centre. I did some catchup with them, knowing that Suet is now working in Puchong, while kiddy Yan is planning to further her studies in Australia National University.

Lamb Shank - looking at it causes my air liur to meleleh

Anyway, let's get back into the topic. Job hunting. Aihhh. These 2 words are bothering me for days d. I never know job hunting can be so hard. It's either the recession is seriously bad or our degree really sucks or I'm too selective about job (thou basically I just apply all and wait for call). Today I just went for the Kraft Asia Pacific Graduate Trainee interview. At first, I thought there would be only a few shortlisted candidate. But when I reach there, I was surprised to find a list of more than 30 candidates. That means, I only have 1/30 chances to get selected. Soooooo compeititive !

For this interview it was quite fun actually. When I first saw my 3 interviewer (all 3 also lelaki), I was quite worried. I know guys tend to be less sympathetic and they can ask crazy questions. But to my surpised again, the HR department already set up the question for them to ask me. So they have to ask according to the list of questions and drote down important things that I have mention. And all 4 questions were based on my personal life experience. How I deal with people, challenges I faced before, how I lead people, how I get problems solved and stuff that you have been through daily. Its not any specific questions about Kraft nor US economy as I first predicted. However, thou the questions seem to be simple but it is rather tricky, when someone ask you things like whether what you did during that time is right or wrong and what you have learn from an event.

Hahaha. Anyway, that interview was quite long. They expect me to finish the interview within an hour, but mine strech from 8 till 9.15. I have some good laugh with the interviewer and they seems interested with my stories (except for the Malay dude in the middle). Not really sure will they call me for the next assessment, but I certainly hope they will.. Hoping for the best now.

Back at home, I continue searching for jobs. Laboratory Assistant, Microbiologist, Molecular Biologist..... and the list goes on and on. At the same time, I am looking for scholarships to do postgraduate studies. Should I get a good scholarships, I think I will put career aside and go for postgrad studies first. Jin Yan is leaving for Australia this coming weekend. How fast... She is going to do Master of Biotechnology in Australia National University. A great uni that I have consider before this.

It's getting late. I think I better off to bed now. Tata guys !
